(2007) dir. David Sington
A very reverent and honorific documentary about the Apollo space missions, the lunar landings, the men who walked on the moon or traveled “in the shadow of the moon”. The film is decent, but not captivating, despite the fact that it’s about how amazing and captivating the lunar missions were for the world and how awesome these men who walked on the moon were. Neil Armstrong himself does not appear, apparently because he doesn’t like the spotlight, which is a shame because he is “the man”.
Sadly, I’d written a more substantial and interesting set of comments, but it got lost when I tried to save it. Dammit. So, that’s all.
